Welcome to the Barnacre-with-Bonds Parish Council Website
The Barnacre-with-Bonds Parish Council employs a Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer (RFO) who is responsible for all the administrative work associated with the day to day running of the Parish Council.
There are seven local people who serve as Councillors on the Parish Council and give their time voluntarily. Elections to serve as a Parish Councillor are every four years, unless there is a resignation when a casual vacancy will be advertised on the website and on the Parish Council notice board (which is situated on Bonds Lane).
Meetings are held 6 times a year (dates can be found on the meeting dates page) and are usually held at Barnacre Memorial Hall. All meetings are open to the public and there is a period of time put aside at the beginning of each meeting for a period of public discussion where members of the public are able to express their views or ask questions.
This website contains information about the area, Parish Council meetings, minutes and clerk's reports (which are issued with every agenda), contact details for each Councillor and the most up to date agenda.
The links page provides many links to various groups/churches/schools and businesses within the area as well as links to Wyre Council & Lancashire County Council.
If you would like a link to your organisation/group included on the page, please contact the clerk. Similarly, if you have any photos you would like to be included in the gallery pages, please contact the clerk.
